Mr. Waheed Amin has been involved in the Telecommunication Industry since 1992 and worked for the TDM, the fixed line operator in Mozambique before he joined Vodacom Mozambique. He held senior management position at TDM and has participated and leaded several network development projects e.g. Modernization of switching network, Optic Fiber network implementation, IN implementation, Microwave transmission network expansion, ISDN implementation.
He currently holds the position of Executive Head of Operations in Vodacom Mozambique and in this position is responsible for Network Planning, Engineering, Project Management, O&M and Property.
He had also contributed extensively with the Global ISDN implementation forum, SATA and recently with Emerging Market Advisory Board of Vodafone.
Mr. Waheed Amin has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Eduardo Mondlane University.
