Viraj Tyagi

Viraj co-founded NettPositive in 2007 with a vision of creating a global analytics firm that will blend analytics prowess with pragmatic business acumen to deliver high velocity solutions. He has over 18 years of international experience in General Management, Marketing, Sales, Strategy, E-Commerce and Market Research in retail banking.
In his long corporate career, he has held positions of Director and Head– UK Credit Cards and loans at American Express, Head – Products and Distribution at Halifax Bank of Scotland (HBoS), UK and his last assignment was Business Head – Credit Cards for Standard Chartered Bank (India). He has managed portfolios in excess of 5 million cards, $8 billion of balance sheet size and had driven large teams to achieve 8x increase in card origination, increased profitability by 40%. At Standard Chartered, he was instrumental in implementing market-leading strategies that included India’s first lifestyle driven card, a premium product strategy and launched two successful products in 12 months along with building significant cross-sell capabilities in the business – initiatives that increased net profits by 72%. Viraj is an MBA from Indian Institute of Management (Bangalore, India) and Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) from Indian Institute of Technology (Varanasi, India).
