Mrs. Toyin Adeniji is the Chief Executive of Susu Microfinance Bank. Susu Microfinance Bank is a pioneer Microfinance Bank, and was one of the first five microfinance banks to be licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2006. Toyin has an MBA from Havard Business School and has extensive experience working with micro and small enterprises. Her 12 years in Development Finance as an investment Officer with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank, is a key element in the establishment of Susu Microfinance Bank. Her work as a lead Investment Officer under the African Enterprise Fund has provided her with extensive experience in providing financial assistance to small and medium scale enterprises in Nigeria. She worked both at the local resident mission in Lagos and at the headquarters in Washington DC. Prior to joining the World Bank, Toyin worked with Nigeria International Bank (Citibank) and Arthur Anderson (KPMG) where she did her articles and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991.
