Snehar has had fifteen years experience in the Telecoms and Banking Industry, having started since the launch of Orange in the UK with roles in Strategy, Finance and Equity Research. He was posted as Deputy Chief Financial Officer to Kenya three years ago when Orange acquired a majority shareholding of Telkom Kenya. Last year, since the appointment as Head of Orange Money, Snehar has successfully launched Orange Money in Kenya with a rich and differentiated product offering for this market. The product will soon be expanded to other markets in East Africa. Snehar holds a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (BEng) from Imperial College, London and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
