Russel graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics). He spent 3 years in the United Kingdom working for several international banks. He then returned to South Africa in 2003 and joined Investec Private Bank in the Cape Town office. Russel joined Spark ATM in October 2006 and manages a sales team of 12 people country wide. Spark ATM has deployed around 1000 ATMs in the South African market and Russel has overseen this growth from ATM number 1.
