Rudolf Smit is Channel Manager for Africa at S1. He joined the company in 2003 as a developer in the International Delivery Team (IDT). After spending some time in the United States and Dubai—where he managed various client implementations—he became Professional Services and Customer Support Manager in 2006. He was responsible for delivery management for South African clients based in Cape Town, Mauritius, and Namibia, and managed the customer support team responsible for all clients and resellers in sub-Saharan Africa. Rudolf was involved in establishing the International Support Team for S1 in September 2007, which was later merged with IDT. As Channel Manager for Africa, Rudolf assists S1’s African resellers in formulating their sales plans and enhancing their sales capabilities.
