Piet Biemans, Managing Director of Pofib Development BV, has worked for more than 35 years as a general and programme manager and as business and IT expert within the (former) Postbank and International Nederlanden Group (ING) in the Netherlands.
He was general manager of one of the largest Netherlands’ PTT Postgiro transaction processing centres and Postbank call centre and has worked as a whole sale credit manager with the Dutch and former NMB Bank
During the last ten years as employee of ING, he has been responsible for the portfolio of ING projects in the field of postal banking / postal financial services systems and Retail Banking at ING’s Information Technology Centre, Business and IT Consultancy Department.

Since 1996, as an international consultant, he was involved in more than twenty countries in assignments in the field of Postal Financial Services, Postal Banking and Retail banking, in- and outside ING for a large number of assignment holders like World bank, UNDP, EU and private and governmental institutions.
Piet G.J. Biemans has a Masters degree in Business Administration of the of the Erasmus University Rotterdam, a post academic-study Business Information at the University of Antwerp (UFSIA) and a post-academic Integrated Business Management study at BEGIN institute of the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
