Born in Inhambane City, Inhambane Province, Mozambique, Momed Adbul Cadir holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education: Portuguese Language (1983) from the Faculty of Education, University Eduardo Mondlane. His professional career has centred on the linkages between education and associative movements. In 1998 he initiated a research study on the potential of using ICTs at the Secondary School level as well as for the local community living in the small city of Inhambane. He was the Project Coordinator of the “Evolution through Communication and Information Technology” (EPCI) Project in Inhambane, funded by IDRC Canada. Currently, he is the Project Manager of the “Provincial Center for Digital Resources” CPRD in Inhambane, funded by UNDP.
