Meredith Beal is founder and chief executive officer of Lasting Value Broadcasting, a radio broadcasting company based in Austin, Texas. In 2007, he was named Texas Broadcaster of the Year by the Texas Association of Broadcasters, America’s largest state broadcasting association.
Beal has a broad range of expertise and experience spanning a number of fields. Before entering the broadcast arena in 2000, he was an award-winning Global Webmaster for Dell Computer, traveling to 23 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. His previous position at Dell was Marketing and Communications Advisor Worldwide for Dell University. In 2000, while still at Dell, he purchased three radio stations: KTXJ-FM and KCOX radio stations in Jasper, Texas, and KCLW in Hamilton, Texas.
Beal has an extensive technical background as well as a creative one. His previous positions have included software engineer, editor-in-chief of magazines and trade journals, music producer, and record industry executive at Motown Records. He began his career as a reporter for the Los Angeles Times. In 2010, he received a SXSW Dewey Winburne Community Service Award.
