Mercy Mintah Gyampoh has over 20 years rich experience in entrepreneurship, sourcing and supplies and is a serial entrepreneur.
She is a graduate of the Regent University College of Science & Technology and also holds an executive certificate in strategic communication. As an outsourcing management consultant, she is the executive director of The International Institute for Outsource Management-West Africa (IIOM-WA) for 20 countries in West Africa.
The International Institute for Outsource Management - West Africa (IIOM-WA), is a charter organization of The International Institute for Outsource Management-Manila a global trade organization dedicated to the assessment, development and promotion of qualified outsource service providers.
She is a Regional Examiner of the Global Star Certification (GSC), the only qualification model developed to measure a company’s continued operating viability and therefore qualifies the viability and sustainability of outsourcing suppliers. Alongside, she is also a co – founder of Trive Investments Limited (a company which does sourcing and supplies of office equipment, machinery and consumables).
Prior to that as a director of Chemitech Limited, (exclusive agents of Comma Oil and Chemicals Ltd, UK in Ghana & Togo), she was responsible for finance and administration. Between 1994 to 2006, as the international buyer for Mintah Gyampoh Ventures – trading as Luggagecraft, her work took her to many countries all over the world as she sourced for quality luggage to niche her market. Her company was the local agents for Carlton Luggage –UK and Delsey International – France.
She is a member of The Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) and serves as the secretary for STLE- Ghana. She has attended a number of management and entrepreneurial training programs and is currently the secretary of the Empretec Business Women Forum (an NGO dedicated to the growth of women’s’ businesses in Ghana and Africa.) She is also the leader of SMOGA (St Mary’s Old Girls’ Association) 1987 Year Group.
Mercy is a Christian and is married to Mr. Mintah Gyampoh with the blessings of 2 children, a girl and a boy. She enjoys cooking, travelling and has a passion to improve the lives of the poor and vulnerable in society.
