CV

Macauley Atasie is the CEO of NEXTZON Business Services Limited and president ePPAN (ePayment Providers Association of Nigeria). He has been involved in several multi- country business activities such as:
• Set up of STB/UBA Ghana
• Acquisition of AMAL Bank Ghana by Oceanic Bank and other investors from Nigeria
• Acquisition of an insurance company in Sierra Leone
• Setting up of a few other banks in Liberia, The Gambia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and Sao Tome
In Nigeria, Mac has been involved in conceptualizing and set up of several ventures with shared services and other innovative business models. These include:
• Finconnekt Nigeria Limited
• Etranzact Nigeria Limited
• Money Box Africa Nigeria Limited
• Paymaster
Recently, he has been involved in the setting up of the region’s premier biometric ID management system being part of CHAMS Consortium which has a 12 year concession on this. Prior to Nextzon, he was CEO of HEIRS Alliance now HEIRS Holdings Limited. Before joining HEIRS, Mac was Head of ePayment and Ventures as well as Senior Manager Strategy in Accenture Nigeria where he spent over a decade. He also worked in Nigerian Breweries, as an Assistant Manager in charge of brewing.
