Lloyd Chisholm

Mr Lloyd Chisholm, SAP Africa, South Africa

CV

Peter Lloyd Chisholm (Lloyd) is a 13 year veteran of SAP having been involved both in Solution delivery and Sales. As General Manager of the Financial Services Division at SAP Africa, Lloyd grew SAP’s presence in the banking sector, making SAP Africa one of the most successful subsidiaries in terms of market share and solutions deployed.

Before his current role of Strategic Engagements Manager EMEA, Lloyd worked through the delivery ranks as a pre-sales consultant, a senior financial consultant, a project manager and finally financial services program manager, achieving numerous successes and repeatedly being recognised as an over achiever through his years at the company.

After obtaining his Bcom at UCT in 1982, Lloyd was immediately recognised as having a sound understanding of both the financial and IT aspects in his first professional position at Deloitte Haskin and Sells, where he was promoted a senior computer auditor before leaving to fulfill his military obligations. He subsequently took up a position at Caltex where he grew into an accomplished project team leader, while completing his internationally-recognised Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification.

Lloyd has continued to expand his qualifications and recently added an Advanced Management diploma from the University of St Gallen, and is currently busy reading for his Executive MBA and working on a dissertation covering banking innovation. Current interest is setting up Information Technology capability deployment models for Africa.
