Killian Clifford is the Owner and CEO of Mobile Money Consulting, a boutique consultancy specialising in servicing the mobile money and banking industries. Killian spent 11 years working in banking in London initially in trading and risk management and subsequently as a management consultant servicing these areas. In 2008 he transferred his experience to the development sector, focusing on access to finance where he helped develop strategy and risk management techniques for different microfinance institutes.
More recently he has concentrated on the mobile money sector which he feels is the most convenient and cost effective way to deliver financial services to the world’s poor. Today he is engaged on a number of mobile money projects for clients in both the developing and developed world.
