CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT & COMMUNICATIONS, FRCN
As head of Corporate Development & Communications of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) Ike’s work has centred, in part, in developing, tracking, adapting and applying the most current and relevant broadcast trends for the enhancement of FRCN’s operations and the profitability of the Corporation’s 37 FM, 5 SW and 5 MW radio stations.
To this end, he’s helping in the digitalisation of FRCN’s broadcast systems, introduction of web audio streaming and Internet radio, broadcast audio auditing, audio-visual documentary productions, setting up of world class recording studio facilities, and upgrading of transmitters and operational facilities, etc.
The job requires constant update of industry knowledge, regular trainings, frequent interaction with producers, directors and marketers, and interactive exchanges with industry peers in the USA, UK, Europe, Japan and South Africa. Ike has extensive managerial experience in both print and broadcast industries and in the private and public sectors.
