Eng. Jared Baraza, Senior Consultant, AFRALTI. He graduated with MSc. in Communication Engineering 1n 1987, at Cuburg University of Applied Sciences, Bayern, Germany. He has over twenty years experience in telecommunication network planning, frequency planning, spectrum management. He also has experience in Satellite, Microwave, Broadcasting, FM, VHF, HF and broadcasting network planning. He has conducted Radio propagation, Interference analysis and radio signal coverage prediction using ITU software tools. Has facilitated Spectrum management training for CCK, MACRA, UCC, TDM, Eritrea Telecom, Ghana Telecom. Eng. Baraza has also conducted Digital broadcasting Workshops for MACRA, CCK, UCC, Nigeria, Ghana and Sierra Leone NRAs. He is ITU Advisor/Counselor for Radio Spectrum Management and Transmission Systems. Eng Baraza is currently doing research for a doctorate degree in Engineering at Kenyatta University, Nairobi.
