Isabella Ferrari was born in Italy in 1978. In 2002 she obtained her degree in Law with a dissertation on Informatics and New Technologies Law and in 2004 a Masters degree in European Laws and Policies at “Roma Tre” University. She also pursued post-graduate studies and on-the-job trainings in International Development Cooperation field, in particular on Human rights (at International Organizations) and on the improvement of Good Governance through ICTs (at the Italian Development Cooperation - Ministry of Foreign Affairs). Moreover, in 2007 she was awarded a fellowship by UNDESA in the field of design and management of projects and programs for developing countries.
She has seven years of working experience and since 2007 she has been working as a consultant for the Italian Development Cooperation first in Kenya and more recently in Mozambique in the E-government sector.
Since 2003 the Italian Development Cooperation has been funding projects and programs in the E-Government sector aimed to improve the Good Governance in Mozambique. These projects have been implemented thanks to Ms Laura Virgili, External Expert of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who has been following all the initiatives from the beginning.
