Henk is a qualified engineer with an MBA and is an executive at Community Investment Ventures Holdings (CIVH), a South African group of companies active in the provision of products and services to telecoms operators on the continent. In particular, CIVH operates at the cutting edge of technological and market trends related to the provision of terrestrial fibre infrastructure.
Over the recent past, Henk has been involved in the acquisition and management of high-bandwidth terrestrial networks in selected African countries. Prior to which he gained experience in the equity funding of ventures, executive management of manufacturing businesses and management consulting.
Henk travels extensively in Africa and lives in Pretoria with his family.
