I have a PhD  in rural development finance, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Commerce Masters Graduate in banking with 15 years accounting and finance, microfinance, information management systems, program evaluation, strategic planning, organizational and institutional improvement experience. I have worked in various sectors, both commercial and not for profit in Africa south of the Sahara, including international development organizations in Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania and Ghana with UNHCR, SNV and HOFOKAM Microfinance, Sigma Data ,and Triple Jump Advisory services. I have excellent all round financial, microfinance and general management skills. I have in the recent undertaken a successful pilot for e? Banking using Mpesa payment SMEP and is rolling out to of SMEP`S 80,000 clients. I have drawn up a strategic plan for SMEP mobile payments for next five years. I have worked with I have has experience in implementing systems, controls, procedures and policies and use of a range of microfinance, accounting and loan tracking packages and advanced use of spreadsheets and IT networking support. I have experience in human resource management including recruitment, appraisal and training of finance & non?finance staff; setting up systems to handle donor reporting such as CRS, DFID, USAID, UNDP and European Union. I am professional, competent and solution focused to achieve set objectives. I have the ability to communicate with all levels of staff and I am comfortable working in difficult or challenging environments. I am motivational, with strong people skills, specifically people management, implementing systems and new technologies.
