Mr Georg Roider, Probanx Information Systems Ltd, Cyprus

CV

Georg F. Roider is the CEO and founder of Probanx Information Systems Ltd.

Georg has the vision of delivering innovative and customisable software solutions for local and international banks. He founded his own managed business BankCom Consultants in 1987 in Cyprus. The company started with tailor-made PC-based software for private and offshore banking. In 1998, the company was re-branded to Probanx Information System Ltd. and Georg launched the development of CorePlus, an integrated banking solution for commercial and retail banking.

Georg has been pushing the implementation in banking software of the latest trends of technology and banking. CorePlus was re-designed in the early 2000’s to be fully Internet based and working under Microsoft DotNet framework.

Georg caught the huge potential of the Microfinance and Micro Credit sectors when attending a World Bank conference in 2007. It strengthened his vision to producing and deploying a microfinance banking software at affordable prices with hosting solutions.

CorePlus stands now as a suite of banking software that can provide small financial institutions with the powerful, modern and secured features and capabilities of automated banking systems including innovative e-channels. The software has been installed and used by several microfinance banks and credit unions in Africa, Australia, Europe and USA. Some of them are 100% Internet banks; others are starting and fast growing microfinance banks.

Georg’s motto: “Make it simple, it will work!”
