Eric M.K Osiakwan brings over fifteen years of ICT industry leadership across Africa by helping set up numerous ISPs, ISPAs and IXPs.  He has provided valuable leadership input for the continent’s ICT industry through his role in the founding of the African ISP Association, Ghana ISP Association and FOSSFA. His leadership skills include developing ideas, building teams, starting companies, establishing networks, fundraising and project management. He has a track record of supporting the establishment of companies such as Novica.com (West Africa), Internet Research, BusyInternet, InHand, PenPlusBytes, and consults for the World Bank, Soros Foundation, UNDP, USAID and various African governments. He co-authored the “Open Access Model” which has becomes a global model for the communication industry. Eric is a Visiting Fellow at the Berkman Centre for Internet and Society at Harvard University and Director of Ghana Cyber City.
