Envir Fraser: Head of Research, Regulatory and Policy
Envir oversees Convergence Partners’ regulatory and policy activities and is responsible for the research function.
Envir serves on the boards of directors of a number of companies in the Convergence Partners portfolio. In addition, he serves as a member of the Research Advisory Panel of the Meraka Institute.
Prior to joining Convergence Partners, Envir was the research development and funding manager of the Meraka Institute, a national institution aimed at improving the competitiveness of the South African information and communications technology sector through skills development, research and innovation, in addition to supporting the national priorities of using ICT for social and economic development.
Envir has previously served in the South African Government for nine years in both provincial as well as national government.
