David Johnson, Director The Mohamed Amin Foundation. In 1997, a year after the death of world-renown photojournalist Mohamed Amin, David and his wife Christel met Salim Amin, son of the late photojournalist. Together they started The Mohamed Amin Foundation. Coupling David’s 25 years of television experience in the US, Mexico, South Africa and Kenya with his experience in education and training, he has developed and is applying a highly technical integrated method of training that has helped many young African technicians reach an international standard of production.
The Foundation produces a prime time nationally televised TV Show that is rerun continent wide on GTV.
