CV

Dave Stewart has been involved in the call center industry for 15 years. His career spans from Scotland, where he was born, to England, Spain, South Africa and, for the last four years, Kenya. His experience in Africa for the last six years has placed him in the position of being able to overcome the challenges that the continent presents as it positions itself to be the next “untapped” market within the outsourcing industry. He believes passionately that Africa and in particular East Africa is going to be able to offer western companies a level of service that they would not have thought possible from this part of the world.

 

He works closely with Government organizations in promoting all aspects of the industry to the rest of the world and has been instrumental in attracting Fortune 500 companies to establish a presence in Kenya.

 

He is currently the M.D. of Horizon, a new state-of-the-art contact center that will be launching in Nairobi early 2009.

 

His hands-on approach and vast array of contacts within the region put him in a unique position to place Kenya firmly on the map with the ultimate aim of facilitating job creation in a market that is yet to be fully established in the region.
