I have been with GlobeCast for eight years and worked on the news side and planning of large events, such as the broadcast base in Athens (for no- rights holders). Providing facilities, co-ordination of feeds at the World Cup in Germany, Winter Olympics in Turin, also, on the news side, Afghanistan and Iraq war, volcano in Goma, the death of Diana, Princess of Wales and Pope John Paul, etc.
I moved to Nairobi at the beginning of 2008 to run the local office – where we provide facilities to foreign broadcasters but also to local television stations.
