André du Toit qualified as an engineer and has been in the telecommunications network business for more than 30 years in South Africa. During this time he was responsible for operating networks, business management and customer services.
Since 1995 he has been focusing on providing satellite services across Africa. His involvement here included business development, solution design, determining tariff structures and dealing with regulatory and licensing issues. He is currently active as a telecommunications consultant, mainly in the satellite industry.
