Ahmed Kassam has been working within the fields of Innovative Technology and Media for over 20 years. He has had the opportunity to work in the most demanding regions from the developed world as well as the developing world.
As a qualified Industrial Electronics Engineer from Kingston College in the United Kingdom, Ahmed has invariably used his skills in helping corporations such as Microsoft and WorldSpace Corporation build strong relationships with Governments across Africa. Over the past 12 years Mr. Kassam has spent most of his time on the Africa continent, building an exemplary network through working with governments, development partners and multinational organizations. ( UNDP, UNICEF, CBC, NEPAD, WorldBank, ITU, ADB, DBSA).

He has, on many occasions, spoken at key events around the World, including the G8 Africa business summit in the UK, the World Economic Forum, as well as several NEPAD and Government events in Africa, Europe and the US.
Mr. Kassam also holds an advisory role with the NEPAD’s ICT Task team – The eAfrica Commission. He has helped conceptualize and initiate key Pan-African ICT Projects including e-Tourism and the NEPAD e-2010 project. He has also been appointed the Commonwealth Business Council advisor for Africa by the CBC in London. He also holds advisory roles with several Governments across Africa.
