AITEC Banking & Mobile Money COMESA, Innovator Fast-track Theatre

7-8 March 2012

Kenyatta International Conference Centre Nairobi, Kenya

The theme of the sixth annual AITEC Banking & Mobile Money COMESA Conference is “Showcasing the Region’s Banking and Mobile Payment Innovation Successes”. East Africa is increasingly identified as a leading centre of innovation, particularly in mobile payments technology, and this leading event for the financial services sector is an ideal opportunity for the region’s new breed of innovators, software developers, payment aggregators and financial service providers to showcase their products and services.

To enhance this opportunity, AITEC has added an Innovator Fast-track Theatre to this year’s AITEC Banking & Mobile Money COMESA conference to provide emerging enterprises that are developing solutions for the financial services sector with a structured platform to make presentations to the conference audience as well as an invited audience of potential partners and investors.

This is a free service for innovators to make mini showcase presentations on their products and services of 7 minutes each. Presentation proposals must be submitted in advance and will be selected on the basis of criteria set out below.

The presentation programme will be advertised in the Event Guide and in the media. This is another unique opportunity to promote your product or service and be approached by those in the audience interested in further details.

The Theatre is being organised in partnership with mLab, iHub, Kenya ICT Board, NaiPay, Digital Age Institute, Kenya ICT Board and @iLab.
